It is true that each case is different and must be treated as unique to look for personalized solutions; certainly, we can prevent hair loss or, at least stop it, if we follow some medical recommendations such as those shown below:
–Massaging the scalp with the fingertips, pressing gently, we can stimulate blood flow in this area by strengthening the follicle’s root and thus prevent loosing weak hair.
–Drinking a lot of water (at least two litres per day) and following a balanced diet, we can give our follicles all the essential nutrients.
-Avoiding the use of headbands, hair leagues, caps and all kinds of accessories that can make pressure on our scalp.
– Do not wash hair daily but every three days, since daily washes make hair weak and contribute in the fall of weak follicles.
–Reducing the use of a hairdryer, hair iron and any other element that stresses our hair. It is possible to use the hairdryer in natural air mode (not hot). It is recommended to avoid, at any cost, the use of elements that bring the heat to our scalp.
–Brushing our hair gently using brushes with thick and vegetable bristles.
-Keeping low our stress levels.
-Sleeping, at least, eight hours per day.
-Always try to avoid sleeping with wet or tied hair
-Cutting hair ends every three months.
-Leaving smoking, because this habit can make follicles weaker and may close permanently those already damaged.
-Using a small quantity of shampoo every time we wash our hair. It would be ideal if we only use the necessary just to generate foam on the scalp, without exceeding.
-Reducing the amount of salt and sugar we consume. Those components make our hair weaker.
-Consulting a specialist to receive an efficient treatment
-Following the treatments recommended by specialists and using all those products prescribed by our doctor.
-Always using natural products to wash or treat our hair, which also means, to avoid the use of products that contain parabens or silicones.
-Consume vitamin supplements, especially those that contain vitamin B to help the blood supply reach the scalp.
-Treating dandruff immediately, in case we have it, because the growing hair on those follicles is weak and damaged, and has more probabilities to fall.
