Why is transplant cheaper in Turkey?

There are several reasons why the price is lower in Turkey: lower wage costs than in Spain, there is a lot of competition therefore prices are very tight and the Turkish government subsidizes this type of intervention …

What is Alopecia or Baldness?

It is a natural process and is manifested by the visible loss of hair where it used to be. The onset, speed, pattern and degree of alopecia is related by genetics and inheritance. Alopecia is produced mainly by a combination of genetics, age and hormonal change. In general terms it can be stated that the earlier the hair loss begins, the more severe the baldness will be.

Is there any treatment other than hair transplantation?

Medical treatments slow down the progression of baldness, act on the roots weakened by hormonal action and are effective in the medium and long term. However, there is no medical treatment that gives birth to new hair from dead roots, only a hair transplant will be effective in this situation.

What types of baldness are candidates for a hair transplant?

Male androgenic alopecias or common baldness (they represent 90% of cases), some female androgenic alopecia and scarring or traumatic alopecia.

What is hair transplant or hair transplant?

The transplant or capillary graft involves the relocation of hair from an area of greater density and fullness (in the back of the head) to another area of hair loss, in the upper part of the head.

At what age can the hair transplant be done?

There is no age for the transplant, only the necessary conditions for the procedure must be given. However, it is not recommended to perform a hair transplant before the age of 22, because the process of hair loss is in a very early state. Each case we attend in a personalized way.

What does FUE mean?

It comes from the words (Follicular Unit Extraction) of English, which means the Individual Extraction of Follicles.

What are Follicular Units?

They are the grouping of hairs. The hairs are grouped in groups (follicular units) of 1, 2, 3 or 4 hairs. They are composed of dermal papillae, follicles, glands and subcutaneous fat.

What is the FUE technique?

The foundation is simple, it consists of extracting, one by one, the Follicular Units of the donor area to place them later in the receiving area. It is a meticulous technique that requires a long process of learning and practice, so it has to be carried out by qualified personnel with proven experience.

What is the MicroFue technique?

MicroFUE is the most advanced technique for capillary grafting. It is an evolution of the classic FUE technique. The results are more natural, undetectable, offer a decrease in postoperative pain and rapid recovery.

Is the MicroFue capillary graft safe?

Yes. Within cosmetic surgery operations, it is one of the least risky.

How long is the intervention?

A mega-session FUE, from 3,500 to 5,500 grafts, lasts from 6 -7 hours. Although it is not heavy because there are breaks.

Is the post-operative painful?

The post-operative is not painful. The effect of local anesthesia lasts 6-7 hours. Afterwards, patients can take the analgesics that we provide them to avoid possible discomfort.

Does the result seem natural?

Yes. We distribute the hair homogeneously in the receiving area and design the front implantation line naturally, using the hair follicles to cover this first line. The capillary graft is one of the most frequent operations, due to the results obtained.

Is the result permanent?

The hair follicles extracted from the donor areas (back and side of the head) are genetically programmed to resist the hormones responsible for hair loss. These follicles maintain their genetic characteristics in the receptor area. So they become permanent.

Does the intervention leave any scars?

No, it is an intervention that leaves no scar.

Is there a decrease in hair in the donor area?

No type of diminution of the density of the hair in the donor zone is noticed, until half of the hair of this zone can be extracted of sure form with our MicroFUE technique. Even in patients suffering from severe hair loss, 5,000 to 6,000 grafts can be extracted from the donor area. Which means approximately 15,000 hairs. With which we would have a satisfactory result.

Does the hair transplant really work?

Yes. It is the only effective treatment, in our days, for hair loss. A large majority (around 98%) of the hair follicles transplanted survive and grow.

When can I travel after the operation?

You can travel the day after the intervention

How much time is needed to return to the daily routine after the operation?

In 2-3 days you can resume your normal life.

When can I start seeing the results?

The transplanted hairs fall to the first month. Three months later they begin to grow permanently. Twelve months after the operation you can see the final result.

How many operations can I perform?

It depends on several factors, age, type of hair loss, head size, hair thickness, hair type, density of the donor area and their expectations. One session is sufficient for most patients, although up to 4 sessions can be performed. If you want more than one session you have to wait 9 months between the two.
